1st Grade Buddies

We have partnered up with Mrs. Lindquist's First Grade class!!

 We each have a buddy that we will meet with on Early Release Days. Sometimes we will read or write letters to one another. Today we did a STEM activity where we built rockets to shoot outside. 

Regions of the US

We got into groups and researched different regions of the United States. We learned about the states and capitals included in each region, bodies of water, geographic features, important landmarks, etc. After presenting our information to the class, we did a gallery walk to view other groups posters and wrote down important information.  

Science Night

Don't Forget! Tonight is Science Night. Meet up at Coverdell from 6-7:30 for fun science activities.

Can You Save Fred?

We did a problem solving activity that required the students to work together. They had to save
"Fred" from drowning using only a paperclip. Every member of the team had to participate and they needed to communicate with one another to be successful.
